SHIFT LOCK when not pressing anything

sometimes for some unknown reason everything is in shift lock and I have to click out of the game and come back to bring it back. Not sure what causes it but it is rather annoying.

What is "shift lock"?

SHIFT lock

it means that the game acts like i'm holding down the SHIFT key, and so everything I type is in caps, and i can't type /sit or /camp because it shows up like this ?SIT ?CAMP ?TELL.
