I made a halfling warrior. Never played a melee in this game before especially not in classic. What weapon and armor should I be aiming for right away?

Never been a warrior myself, but was watching ElHefe's stream this weekend, and the warrior in the group was holding aggro with a 2-handed sword. From what I understand, this is the best thing you can do until you get dual wield. Also, as a halfling warrior, maybe try to get the scarab armor? Not too sure if that is better than crafted leather or banded.

Just keep killing for cloth armour. Rusty two halberd handed sword battle axe if you are lucky and sharpen it up. Turn ruined wolf skins into tattered armor. Save scarab shells for your visit kaladim.

You can hand in runnyeye war beads and centurion belts in rivervale/misty thicket.

When you finish misty thicket runnyeye is a dangerous place but with some nice loot.

Alternatively head to highpass for less risk.

save up for a set of banded. AC works on p99 and helps reduce melee damage taken. Agi helps a small amount with mobs chance to miss you.
