Ancient Coins Bard Quest
 

I have been working on the Rare Coins bard quest (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=427) involving the collection of Ancient Coins from various places throughout Kunark. I have now collected every coin except for the Veksar Gran coin that drops off Bloodgill Goblins in LOIO. I've talked with a few people that have been leveling off of the goblins and no one I have spoken with has seen that coin drop yet. Can anyone verify whether or not this coin is currently dropping or if the quest is broken?

I leveled up there from 51-52 and never saw a single coin. Unless they're incredibly super rare I don't think they drop at all.

Hmm, that does seem to be a common story. One guy I talked to said he leveled from 41-44 killing them and never saw a single coin. I camped them for a few hours with a couple of buddies and we never saw one drop. I'm thinking it might be broken at this point.

That was me you talked to. I'm now 46 and still have yet to see a coin. I'd post this in the bugs forum.

Did 50-52 there and no coins.

I'm in the same boat as op.. Pretty sure that this coin is not currently dropping. Perhaps bug forum time?

What about the Scorpikis Coin? Why do they have 4 ancient coins out there obtainable and get rid of the other 2? Whats up with that.

I got the scorpikis coin on my first kill. Make sure you're killing the right one.

Where did it spawn? outside of the Temple? or inside? I cant get the scrounger to spawn

I am in the same position on my bard, all the coins are collected except bloodgill one, and I have yet to hear of any dropping (and can't get on to drop myself).
