My own fault, I suppose...
... but nothing like being in a Karnor's group, having someone NBG a Deathbringer's Rod, and then do it again a bit later on when an Oggok Cleaver drops. Enough new people in the group that I guess it didn't matter, but pretty lame IMO. I asked him about it and his response is "Well, 1 is 2hb and one is 2hs."
I sometimes question my willingness to NBG stuff, though usually people are cool about it. Probably the lamest rant, flame and NSFW thread in a while. Oh well. |
Never agree to NBG in random pickup groups. Only guild-exclusive ones.
You have learned your lesson today, young padawen. |
Level a monk or sk to 50, go to Karnor's, grab a weapon, sell that shit, then do it again. I've already seen 1 monk that had a T staff, who doesn't have it anymore. One day people will learn.

I would never participate in a NBG pickup group. If an item drops that could be used by someone immediately, and the value of the item is lower then what I'd consider being worth trying to sell I'll pass my roll on it, but I'd never be like "well, soandso needs it so it goes to him no matter what."
I'd have called him out on it, in group, then rolled and posted about it (slow day at work, need more forum drama to entertain me). |

Well, to be fair, we didn't sit down and decide it was a NBG group. It was the first drop and basically everyone just said, "If you need it, take it."
I'm not going to let one greedy person change the way I play the game. There are plenty of assholes on the server as it is, we certainly don't need one more. Besides, if everyone knows they can fuck me out of loot, I'm more like to get groups, right? |
