Is there a holistic P99 Green first timer tutorial somewhere?

And I don't mean a guide for setting up the installation. I followed the thread on this forum and the game boots up just fine. I mean for like setting up the game in-game. I can't even figure out how to access the settings menu to set up my hotkeys lol. Xd I remember Blue having a menu button in the UI for that.

Welcome to classic EQ where you had literally no information

To be honest, I kind of like that. =P Surely there was a manual of some sorts, either physical one or a PDF file?

Cheerios! How can I find out all this stuff? How did people figure it out in the ye olden days?

Spock2020 10-25-2019 04:21 PM

You had to read the manual.

A bit of shameless self promotion but I made a guide a while ago to help new players get started with EQ from absolute zero. This includes essential tricks like opening settings with alt+o, binding sense heading, a class choice guide and the basics of scribing spells. Hope it helps.

I love you and you are our (the WoW Refugees') champion and saviour. When Nostalrius went down and the majority of us mass migrated to Kronos for the time being, we made a guild called Nostalrius Refugees and it made me kind of iffy, and I wondered if it truly was on the better side of the quasi-macabre contemporary humor. Truly and surely did we get a few scoffs and laughs from people here and there almost everyday, but now that I have aquinted myself with the stalwart and edgy flavour of humour of the title of Midoo's EQ Guide For WoW Refugees (i.e. for the indolent and dim-witted or those with ten unopposable thumbs) I feel like all of my choices of poor taste in life have been redeemed. All hail Midoo and his magical tutorial!

P.S. Would there happen to be scans of the original manuals somewhere obtainable for vanilla EQ and all the expansions that P99 Green pertains to cover? Did I use that word right? All the expansions that pertain (to?) P99 Green? In? Huh? Just for s***s and giggles, and being all "legit" and all that cool stuff. Or where they included as PDFs on the discs like in ye modern days?
