FPS Drop and High Brightness after v52
 

It feels like dynamic lighting is stuck on or something. It's only when I'm around groups of people where their light sources are extremely exaggerated. I don't see anything in the options to change it, is there a manual command or a .ini file I can modify?

EDIT: This is on blue. I kind of have a crappy computer so this is borderline unplayable.

it's forced on, it's how they emulate the classic darkness.

Any performance fixes for this? Game runs poorly as ever

Talked to a number of people experiencing the same issue. Forced dynamic lighting on makes the game pretty unplayable in most raid battles. Not seeing a way around it, tried editing the ini file and checking the box in options but it’s completely forced :(

I cannot raid unless I go buy a high end video card apparently (for a 1999 game) lol.
I wonder if I can find a package deal with some sunglasses so I don't get retina burn from 85 players light sources.

what to do?
 

I play on a laptop, I cant switch out the video card. Will this be addressed at any point?

Exactly... you can't just hot swap "get a better video card" for a laptop.
Some people are just being shallow idiots.

I don't think video card has anything to do with this. I have a GTX 1080 Ti and it's stuttering like hell.
