Melee resist bonuses are not classic until Oct 1999

This is the same patch that itemizes Kedge:

Class Enhancements
Warrior - % increase on critical hits
Rogue - +8 poison resistance
Paladin - +8 disease resistance
Ranger - +4 Fire +4 Cold resistance
ShadowKnight - +4 Poison +4 Disease resistance
Monk - +8 Fire resistance
On the green beta my half elf ranger currently has 29 sv Fire/Cold, which suggests to me I am getting +4.

I believe warrior was changed very quickly to +MR if you can find that patch. If it is within the same month I doubt they'd do the +Crit percentage, or even do it at all if there is no data to suggest what the increase should be.

From Brad's summary in December 7, 1999, it sounds like perhaps both were kept (may be wrong). But i am mostly saying the melee classes should not have resists boosts before Oct 1999

All the patches from vanilla should now be on the p99 wiki patch history page, although some are translated from Japanese.

(Sorry, only the Japanese sites still had all of them :D)

By all means look for nerfs. If it's timeline accurate, I say post it until the devs say otherwise.
