Buying one item at a time...?

While looking through the interface thread, a thought occurred to me that might have already been addressed. Didn't the early version of the game allowed you to only buy one item at a time? That is, if you wanted to purchase twenty flasks of water, you would have to click buy twenty times.

I remember one of those online EverQuest comics (Woody?) making fun of it.

If this has already been addressed, then please disregard this post.

Stack of Honey Mead 1

Stack of Honey Mead 3

The latter comic was from April 20, 2001; so perhaps that was when multiple buying went into play.

Indeed, buying stacks of items wasn't a thing until April 2001.

This might be hard to implement in the Titanium client though.

One at a time isn't so bad when you can buy all your combines.

Put your fletch kit in top slot so you get 1x each of your components and just hit combine straight off!

scrolling through a vendor list that has 4 classes of 4 different components + some other items, finding the ones you need, clicking it, and click buy... 9 clicks+scrolling per arrow combine... not a big life hack!
