Bard Charm Not Attacking
 

A quick post, but was just trying to use my bard’s charm in MM and it would land no problem, but when I’d have the charmed pet attack another mob, it would say command not available right now.

Has anyone experienced that before? It’s happened a couple other times in Lguk, but I thought it happened maybe bc the pet wasn’t in line of site.

Anyway, would love to know if there’s a solution

Due to stupid patch bards now have to stop singing to use pet attack social macro as a hotkey.

So I have to stop singing before pressing “attack” ?

holy balls I took a break from bard at a good time.

Use the activity bar. 4th tab. Pet will attack while casting. Make a hotkey and keep in where it is, don't move it to hotbar. Use that.

Other pet commands will work the same.

Click the macro you made in the socials menu, not in a hotbar. This can be done while singing or casting.

That's horrible, can you manually type it for it to work? (as if bards don't have enough to do)...maybe it's just a UI thing?

Clicking on socials within the social menu works. Try it!
