What's a good thing to do?

I don't want to get into anything serious cause green will be out soon, so what would benefit me to do in game for the next few weeks? Is there anything that can I do in game that will better help me be prepared for green?

Basically, if you has a lot of spare time on your hands, what would you do in game. Know that I do not have any characters, outside of a couple I messed around with and got to level 6.

Thanks!

There are still a great number of starting player city guides needed: http://wiki.project1999.com/Player_Guides

If whatever Green race you plan to play doesn't have a starting guide yet, you could add one. Everything you need is in the wiki and/or on Blue already, and while of course you'll be planning your own Green start, you'll also be helping others.

There's no Freeport player guide? Wow! I know that place pretty well. If I do choose to do this, how do I get it on this page?

Establish a game plan. What class / race you're interested in playing.
Figure out classic loot. Set a course for realistic equipment goals.
Start using the velious ui on blue/red. No custom ui on green.
Establish a healthy sleep schedule. Burnout can happen and you'll loss out on playtime.

Just click the red link, and it will take to where you can create the page.

You might want to go to one of the other guides, click their edit link, and copy/paste their code though; that way you'll have a "template" to get started, and then you can just replace that city's stuff with Freeport stuff.

P.S. In my personal opinion the directions to turn in your newb note is probably the least valuable part of the guide, so if you want to skip anything initially I'd skip that. But if you have time I'm sure really new people will find that section useful, which is why it exists at all.

P.P.S. The new http://wiki.project1999.com/Template:Loc (the link tells you how to use it) is handy whenever you want to say "____ is here" in the guide.

There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title in other pages, or search the related logs, but you do not have permission to create this page.

Oh, you have to be logged in to edit the wiki. There should be a "create account" and a "Log in" link in the upper-right corner. Once you use those to get logged in, you should be able to edit stuff.

Been away for so long TIL about Green ...

:-O

How time flies when you are away from the things you like ..,

I now must debate if it will be worth on my extremely limited time to even try Green if at all!

From my own classic experience back in the day and then here, I think you really need to simply sit back, relax and visualize what class/race combo of the era you think you want to fully explore and develop?

Anything beyond that would be secondary to the whole planned ahead trail you want to set up for yourself.

I played in live on the progression servers classes/races I never tried before and here I decided to simply make one class I never fully tried anywhere else before.

So for Green I would stick to a class I have absolutely no idea of if I want a challenge or take the easy path and go for a true and tried class I enjoy.

Would spend hours reading guides and trying to accomodate what I would want out of the character.

That is what I would do :)
