Server Pop
 

I'm a bit worried about the server's population. It was around 2000+ at peak hours when I started in 2017 and now it struggles to get 900 around the same times. Anyone know what happened?

WoW Classic / people looking forward to Green who are tired of Blue's stagnation over 10 years if I had to guess.

Also summer, those peak numbers were in the dead middle of winter. Prob lost a couple hundred on average due to the Pet window changes/hotbar removal, lol.

2017 also probably has effects from velious making it unnaturally higher than average around then too.

My guess is that blue will idle around 700 players while green is like 350 up until kunark and then idk what will happen, maybe that will attract another 100-200 players idk I have no idea this is all based on nothing but my gutts.

Log in and play the game you want to play. Seems like 900 isn't too many/ too few to do most of the things you want to do. Let management worry about the big issues, no?

I can only speak from my own reasoning to come back and play on blue. When Pantheon Rise of the Fallen began getting traction in 2016ish I got a thirst to play EQ again. I played before, but it definitely seeded the want to return again. I think people interested in Pantheon saw that P1999 existed in comments on videos, forums, etc. I could be wrong, but it got me back into it. :)
