Batlings on wrong faction.

I've not been able to find the name for the batling faction, however testing on live shows that batlings should start off as indifferent (tested on erud cazic SK) and they should not give faction hits upon death.

Batlings will assist each other though.

Also there are a few comments like this in The Warrens zone forum on Zam suggesting at one point they were all KOS.

Anybody know anything about these. I was just scouting the area not killing anything with my lvl23 ranger. Fell down into the area that holds these little bastards and 5 of them jumped me and I went down in about 20sec. Looking for some info on them so I can get some payback.

Want me to research this further and see if different race/class/deity combos have different starting faction for Bbatlings?
