Skills after deleveling
 

If you delevel do your skills reduce to their proper caps or do they stay at whatever they were at?

They reduce to their proper caps.

Unsure how it work on p99, but aren't skill supposed to cap one or two level higher? I remember such thing from live...

On PVP your skills were capped a couple of levels above your own (to reduce OP delevelled toons) if you delevelled. I'm sure on pve your skills didn't get reduced. That feels like something that was introduced after AAs were added.

Was on Vallon Zek, so I was definitely concerned... But you are right, that might have been pvp specific (those damn deleveled epic'ed rogues! No idea of the state here anyway...

You can retain up to 2 lvls above your current level “skills caps”

My lvl 52 warrior has the offensive and defensive skills of a lvl 53.

Warrior is 55, deleved from 60.

Cap at 50 = 200
Cap at 60 = 250

Your skills delevel to your current level.

You keep 2 lvls above your current lvl in skill I can log in my 52 and his caps are above what other 52 have.

Just curious what would be the scenario where you would want to de level your character?
