He's referring to me nuking various surnames in EC.

Do not form phrases or sentences with your names.

Do not make word plays or duplicate famous people or copyrighted material.

Do not name yourself after religious or political figures.

Do not make immersion breaking names.

Do no make offensive names.

Do not try and BS me on what kind of alternate meaning your name really holds, you know what you're doing.

Those are just a few of the guidelines, just follow the policy, have fun in EQ.

Some guides won't care as much as others, staff discretion. I have been doing sweeps. As a rule, even if offensive, I give folks another chance to choose another name. Once a guide removes your ability to have a surname it is very difficult or impossible to get one back (i.e. petition a GM and hope for the best), so don't screw up your second chance.

Changing a bunch of names is pretty terrible for the community tbh. EQ, more so than any other game is a place where your reputation matters.
