Budget ranger advice
 

Been fighting the urge to try a ranger out as I never played one on Live or here on P99.Not sure if I will like it enough to stick with it so not looking to drop much on him.What are some respectable yet cheap armor/weapons to get him off to a decent start?I was figuring maybe just throw a set of banded on him and spend the plat on 2 good weapons but thought I would ask here first to make sure I wasn't missing out on any armor better than banded that was also still cheap.Only really looking to drop around 1-2k on him until I know if I will stick with him or not.Thanks in advance.

Silver Swiftblade and SCHW will last you until 45 if you want it to.

If going for 2k add in some hp/AC rings and Orc fang earrings too if you like.

Best budget haste = Velium swiftblade, worth if u cant get 30% haste anywhere else.

A bit better gear might make your play experience more enjoyabe.

Sword of skyfire and green Jade broadsword are cheap weapons. Silver swift blade till you can duel weild or till 20.
Dwarven work boots,jagged bands, grotesque mask, orc fang earrings. Hero bracer, bracer of vajeen,treeweave,haste belt from stonebrunt, mithril arms and legs,Lava rune pendant, crested spaulders. You could farm most of this stuff easy on your main.

Silver Swiftblade to 20, Springwood Stave until you can get a woodsman, woodsman until you can get an epic. If not wanting to switch to 2hb there are some comparable Velium 2hs’.

Fungi lv 1 required class imo. Silver swiftblade early on is really fun though.
