I've never actually gotten a pair in all the years I have played EQ.

I was passing through OOT the other day on the boat and heard someone in OOC saying that it was so and so's turn for the AC.

How hard is it to get a pair/how much do they cost typically?

I think I have my class choice narrowed down to two and neither have any kind of movement speed buff. Thinking about trying to get my hands on a pair at some point.

Needs to be at ot camp for long for that list, or be lucky in sro... Paying the mq is a viable option tbh...

I believe the normal rate for buying a MQ, is around 5k.

Otherwise you need to get the drop from one of two locations.

1. South Ro, potential spawn at 9pm game time anywhere in the zone, but its FTE so likely snagged by a tracking druid first.

2. OOT. A static spawn that is perma camped, and a list system run by those at the camp. You will need to be high enough to kill the placeholders.... (Seafury Cyclopse i think)

T boots better

For easy jboots, level a toon on red. Since the server usually has less than 50 players active, jboots are not very contested. Camp is usually empty.

Of course you can get killed :).

Way more efficient just to farm the 5k plat as you level and buy the mq.
