Character creation screen ui is blank.
 

When the creator opens I get a brief glimpse at the menu's that are used to create my character. But then they disappear. I can still scroll over them and click wildly, they are just in the background somewhere. Is there a shortcut to display the UI?

Sounds like your UI files werent set up properly. Look in my signature. Use Option (0) to setup your EQ to run on Project 1999. that will set the proper files and everything. Will also give you an option to use my ui (/load duxaui) or velious ui (/load velious)

i actually just ran the all in one installer. its weird. it shows the bar for a split second when first loading the creator. its really weird. i thought there was a command back in the day for showing UI i believe it was f11.

this is annoying lol.

I believe there is a line in the eqclient.ini where you can set your default ui used for character select and creation. Just change that line.

it is currently set on default. should i change it to something else? just did a complete reinstall and im going crazy!!!!

so i tried the duxaui, velious, and default_old. they all changed but they still dissapear into the background. this is the weirdest thing!

Once you in the game, does the UI look normal? Or does it happen in game as well?

Your laptop has a Intel X3100 Integrated Graphics, I suspect that may be the issue.

If you are able.. in game, press ALT+O and go to Display Tab, in the bottom right click Advanced and uncheck all checkboxes, then Apply and restart the game...

I can't actually get into the game. I dont have any menus to even create a character.
