Petition / Request Rate

Hello all,

I recently started playing Project 1999 and having a blast! I played EQ for about 10 years and still do on and off again. I really missed the old days and this is exactly what I was looking for.

My wife and I fell in love playing EQ and she is interested in playing as well. But, as we know, it is against the rules for us to play from our house unless we get an IP exemption. I was reading another thread where players were saying it takes weeks to get a petition approved and many are not resolved for months.

Does anyone have an idea on how long it might take to get an IP Exemption? It would be tough to not play EQ together for many months. Just trying to set my expectations because I figured it would be handled quickly and it doesn't sound as if this is the case.

Thanks!

Mainly the same reasons here, although I've been playing on p99 for a year, I've got a petition in to allow for my daughter to play with me, a more sneaky way of bringing my wife back to the game. I filed a petition in the beginning of february, still no reply. Just have to wait.

While you wait for the IP exemption, you are allowed to use a VPN in the interim.

Yep, if you are hoping to box, be ready for justified and deserved bans!

I am waiting patiently as well, only submitted my petition recently. From reading other posts it seems like they are short on help currently.

VPN sounds like the way to go if you do not want to wait.

That's what my roommate and I do.
