Looking to see if anyone is using the newer character models
 

By any chance is anyone using the newer character models?

I've been searching the forms for a while but it must be called something else because I'm not finding anything. or maybe there is no one using the newer graphics.

I know a few years ago I tried getting this to work and it worked for a few characters but not everyone. Just want to see if someone else figured it out.

The new models might actually be disabled, I'm not sure. Either way, instead of playing with teribad Luclin models, I'd recommend checking out the technical forum, where there are several threads on how to improve your classic EQ graphics (eg. with better resolution textures, special elemental textures, etc.)

I already found the forum post that talks about this, and it was disabled by the devs.
So you can no longer change your models as easily as before.
