Returning after 15 years
 

I originally played between 1999 and 2004, and almost exclusively on my Iksar Monk. After playing PR1999 for about a week now I am really loving being back.

Unfortunately, I'm having some difficulty with find appropriate weapons as I level. My DPS is suffering and making it slow going.

Currently I'm using two Staves (5/28, 6.5wt) I bought from the vendor in the Court of Pain, but at lvl13, they aren't cutting it.

I'm looking for recommendations on weapons I can find or farm for that are lvl appropriate. I’ve farming a bit to get some plat (bone chips and Spider Silk/Silk Swatches, for sale is anyone is interested), but not sure how much I’ll need if it turns out I need to buy weapons.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Why are you concerned about lvl appropriate? Did you join ALS?

You are pretty much screwed till lvl 20 anyway due to the damage caps. I have a baton of faith you can have if you want.

They only sell for 100 pp I believe and I have no need for it nor do I care to waste my time trying to sell it in EC tunnel. Let me know if you want it and I will pass it off to you.

These will last you to 60 if you really needed them too.

For some reason, my replies are taking days to actually hit the thread. But hopefully it will catch up so.

In short, I thank and appreciate everyone for their comments, but since posting this I have gotten pretty well sorted out.. Couple of Knuckle Dusters, and other assorted gear.

The only thing I am looking to upgrade are my Shoulders, Belt and Bracers.. maybe my neck, but I'm working on that.
