Attempting to start Project 1999 but...

I'm a little concerned about the ban hammer coming down as soon as I try to get my wife to log in. I've been reading the forums about IP Exceptions and it clearly states:

and please make sure that at least one character has been created under each account
Due to that, I'm worried that if I log in to create a character on my account, log out of my account and then have her try to log in on her computer our IP will be banned before she can create a character? I'm a little confused by this, can anyone shed some light on what I should be doing?

I'm not sure this is required anymore, sorry for the hasty post. I had my wife log in to create a character, then log out, then I logged in to created a character, and now it's a waiting game :)

If you've been granted an IP exemption you will not be banned, and you do not need to log out of your account in order for your wife to log into her own separate account.

You'll have no problem with her logging into her account once you've logged out. The game won't let you guys play together until you get an IP exemption anyway, so you are in no danger :). I've got an IP exemption for my wife and I as well. Just be forewarned...it might take a while for them to get to your request. And that isn't a jab at them by any means, it is just that this is all done via volunteers, which means sometimes it might take a bit.
