I basically have a server I run. I need to play something other than GW2. D&DO, LOTRO my system is to advance for. I am waiting for Pantheon:RotF to get to beta so I can play it. EQ2 is boring WoW is so EASY and I miss EQ. EQMac shut down, Daybreak does not allow Mac or emulators and I am not doing bootcamp, vb, or crossover. I just want to play the good parts of EQ. Everything after Pop, Kunark, Velious became redundant . There was no having to work for gear, no grinding for lvls and killing for bags, gear, everything else games give freely now. I want to HAVE TO make a halfling to get the leather foot bags, want to kill giants to make decent coin. I WANT TO HAVE TO WORK FOR EVERYTHING no matter how mundane it gets. I want to make stat food and craft my own jewelry and I want to o the newbie quests in starting cities for gear that you have until you can afford new and better or make it.

I want to play EQ before it got easy and the only starting city is Cresant Reach. I have followed the instructions and have everything downloaded and installed. I just need help getting in the game. PLEASE!

Your first quest sir, re read the wine install directions. You boofed a final turn in and must do the quest over. Work for it.

If you're having trouble with getting p99 to work on a mac there are some good guides on youtube of folks walking through the process.

Sounds like you might need to wipe and re-install.
