The Thex Mallet Quest and Pre-Quest Enjoy.
 

Hey all this is a full walkthrough of the Thex Mallet quest and Pre-quest. I know that the Reaper of the Dead is used as Raid tool, but I found the other item you get from the quest to be very useful for feign death classes.

Hi Loramin! I already had those links but cannot find out what this "other item" from the "pre-quest" is that is helpful for feign death classes?

The quest itself is pretty straight forward, factioning for the neriak necromancer guild however for 90% of classes is tricky.

True the faction is going to be the toughest hurdle. But the Reaper being so easy to get and the cloak even easier its worth it I think. Someone brought up that the cloak is two only charges, but Sir Lindeal is always up it seems in Lavastorm why not if you're in the are and you have an empty cloak.

I made a dark elf toon specifically for these quests and he was bound at the entrance of Neriak. In fact the little guy got up to lvl 5 just from turning in Thex Mallets lol, what a life he lived.

Basically - make the mallet on your main, bring it to Neriak to drop it on the ground where you camp your mule, log mule in to pick it up and run him back to the necro guild for turn in. Then you gate back to the front and drop the reaper on the ground for your character. Bingo Bango, done.

Don't waste time factioning. Also I used to charm the guy in WC to get a note if I couldn't find a random DE noob to get one for me.

Yea the quest is quite easy. I always have a note for the cloak on me, and have areaper on all my toons
