I was soloing in The Dreadlands on my leezard necro, when an OOC message popped up advertising J Boots. I sent a tell and got the price of 6K plat. I have that!
It didn't take long till I was clicky happy with some new foot wear. Better than the Swoosh!

To anyone else, please resist the 6k seller prices that have been happening. There are too many AC rings available and sellers doing 5-5.5 with gold and rapier included. The fact that Tboots exist at a locked price puts jboots below 6k forever and ever. The amount of 5ks that generate by mob loot compared to AC rings is lower.

I'm not saying if you paid 6k you were scammed, but you were had by a less than reputable, dastardly individual with a friendly smile on their face.

Resist the 6k. Dont do it.

All of the 6k sellers are asking people to post threads mentioning the fact that they bought them and the price that they bought at to inflate an uninflatable price.

Around 2 years ago i used to see MQ for jboots for 9-10k. Id be stoked @ 6k. Is that the value these days? 5.5-6?

If you hold out at 5k even, you WILL find a seller. There are too many AC rings overflowing the server.

I've never paid over 5k. 4.5k was my last pair, and that was with rapier included, but I brought my own gold. Still a savings.

AC farmers do not enjoy their farm. 9 hours to make 5k is ridiculous, and then having to wait hours in EC for someone to buy is even less interesting, especially if they're interested in going back and keeping their AC farm in a timely manner. They may say 'No' the first time you offer 4k. But, let 2 hours pass, and now 4.5k doesn't sound too bad to someone in a hurry.
