Show Helm
 

Is there a way to set your UI to permanently show/hide the helm graphic? The 'Show Helm' option in Alt-O seems to reset to default, displaying your helm, after zoning or logging out.

I hate the damn leather snood graphic for 90% of helms I've used and would love to have the option of hiding my helm permanently.

As far as I know there isn't really a way, unless you alter your eq.ini files (someone else will have better info on this).

I would suggest finding a helmet that has a no-show graphic. I also can't stand any helmet of any type, I like all my char's handsome faces to be viewable.

Allakazham is a great resource for this. Look at the Othmir Cap for example, it has a 'leather' looking icon, but the Appearance tab on the left is cloth (cloth = no helm graphic).

Someone with better technical knowledge of the EQ Titanium files might have better advice, because surely you can just disable/delete some helm graphics - but I'm not 100% sure myself. Good luck!

Wasn't the hide helm option disabled on p99 as it's not classic? Also all the velious helm with "custom" version have no graphic before customization
