Roller skating/blading as an adult
Does anyone skate or blade as an adult? Something in the Metro today reminded me that I had skates and blades as a child and wondered if anyone does it as an adult? I thought it might be fun to try again and exercise too. Does anyone have recommendations for what to buy or any other related wisdom? Thanks :)

not about your skates its about where you go, you need the right pavement not road
rollerblading can be phenomenal exercise and a good alternative to jogging / walking which a lot of people don't like Rule#1 of exercise do it outside ( Regardless of weather ) |
Aaahhh yeah. Another dude, down for that elf health.. Join us brotha.. This is where you need to be...

As a skateboarder growing up- We clowned on fruit booters :) There was always rivalry between them and us wood pushers.. Fast forward to 2018- 2 decades later.. There are 0 inline skaters around.. A dead breed. Anyways- It's now on you to bring back rollerblading my man.. Revive the scene! PS- I still do skateboard as a 33 year old.. So you can absolutely still roller blade! And probably much easier on every single joint compared to running.

Get these. Yeah, I know, they're pink.
However, the ball bearing gear to weight distance ratio is the best in the biz. You'll thank me later. Trust. https://i.imgur.com/sZG0qyj.jpg |

My brother and I used to own a skateboard shop in our young 20s. Skateboarding is something that never left us. We're just a little more cautious of how hard we go. Both are great exercise.
