How long does usually take for the petitions to get resolved?

Depends on the type of petition. Which staff member(s) have to handle it. Legitimacy of the petition. and a few other factors.

If it's a ip exemption just wait quietly, don't bump it and don't post about it again.

If it involves recovering a lost item I think you have to wait for Sirken, and he does them in batches.

Sirke does them in alphabetical order. He starts over every Monday on A. Maybe request to have your name changed with an A as for the first letter for a faster response.
