Disease Cloud still not pulling aggro (sometimes)
On my necromancer, pulling aggro with disease cloud is still hit or miss since the last patch. For example:
Pulled and let pet tank maybe 30-40% ish. Cast Bond for hp, disease cloud, disease cloud, disease cloud. Can't pull it off. Rooted the mob. Disease cloud, disease cloud, disease cloud, disease cloud. Root wore off and the mob ran for my pet. Sometimes I don't have this issue and disease cloud pulls it right off. Before the initial changes were made, disease cloud would always pull aggro from my pet within one or at most two casts. |
I had a SK tank in my group in seb. I'm a monk and i would have to fd/stand up 2 or 3 times each fight. The next pull i decided to see how broken it really is. I didn't fd at all. I tanked the entire fight. The sk casted disease cloud 5 times and the knight never even looked at him.

Disease Cloud hardly works. Needs a little more hate added to it. Still can't pull off anyone with it. Had a person pull with 1 hit and it took 3 casts of DC to get it off for 1 punch. So i think it still needs to be adjusted more.

I wonder if first to engage is possibly adding more hate than others?

from this page it shows user's comments, post velious & pre-luclin, about how this spell is awesome aggro. it was fine before it got nerfed. siphon strength has been better at pulling aggro than DC has.

We know how it's supposed to work, no need to prove it.
Something else is still interfering with the calculation. |
Figured it out. The editor I use puts the value in the wrong field in the txt file. So all of the values are in field161 instead of the bonushate field after being imported into the db. Easy fix, should be in with the next update. Future aggro tuning will be done differently.
