Can someone please ELI5 how to use a custom UI?
 

I really just dont want vertical hotbars.

Ive been looking around and it seems like QQUI and DuxUI are the most popular. But im a computer newb with somethings, and there arent too many instructions out there?

How exactly do I use a custom UI?

Also if you could recommend one with horizontal hotbars thatd be awesome.

Its just a folder

Place the UI folder in your \Everquest\uifiles directory (i.e. \Everquest\uifiles\QQUI)

Then in game you can type /load and pick the UI you want to load

If I changed the folder name to Project1999 will it matter/

The main folder? No.

The "uifiles" subfolder? Yes.
