Something is horribly wrong with charm
 

After Kunark opened I started killing Oasis goblins and specs with a charm pet for rare drops. Before Kunark I would very, very easily hold charm for on average 8-12 minutes with a few rare breaks.

Now.. for every single charm save one, I've gotten it to last less than 5 minutes. It averages between 1 and 2 minutes.

I'm charming the dark blue merchants which should be a couple levels below me.

I died twice now from charm breaks. I've killed these same mobs and charmed the same NPCs for many, many hours this week with no problems until now.

Was 51.. now 50 with two deaths charming a dark blue to kill light blues.

My charisma was 247.

yeah iam having problem with resist and charm duration as well. my problem started after i installed the new spell file.

Charm was too strong before

Cool! Sounds like they may have fixed Charm to be a bit closer to classic Everquest :)

Are you Tashing first? That should have a bigger effect than CHA.

Charm is broken at level 27. I've never had it last more than 2 ticks. And yes I'm tashing, and yes I have CHA gear, but not enough obviously.

Encs are broken.

Then it's still broken - bummer. Charm has been that way since release for lower levels.

Higher levels had the opposite problem with perma-charm. Maybe they've been only working on that problem.
