im new to EQ I would love it if someone could so me the ropes, help me build up a toon a lil bit so i can play solo. At this point I have no idea what I'm doing. You really should refer to the link posted above to the Wiki. It will give you some help around the basics and can help you choose which race and class to go with. You really want to ask people in the game for help. This is how I did it. I started with some initial research online (it was VERY limited at the time at launch). The rest was me asking people in /ooc and /shout for advice. The good news is that this server is full of very seasoned players who really like to help out.

Send me a tell on Heat if you need advice. Also, I recommend reading through the p99 wiki as well. It has a lot of the context you'll need to play EQ :)
