Anyone else OCD about the order their buffs are in?
 

Bothers the crap out of me if they aren't in the order they're normally in. Now, it's progressed into full on OCD. Anyone else?

If the clickies are on top I dont give a damn.

Hmmm , not really, it has never bothered me much, but if it is important to you, then cast them always in the same order?:)

When I am online with people that get bothered with wrong orders , I usually try to give them tips to focus on something else, like breathing for example, rhythmic breathing helps in dealing with small episodes of anxiety.

Having also a token object in their hands, like a fidget spinner or stress balls helps a toon too.

I had a friend that managed to lower anxiety online by having an egg or two of silly putty while playing. :cool:

You also need to take a mental inventory/note of when the anxiety completely disrupts your fun while playing.

When this begins to happen more and more often, you need to begin applying these little exercises to focus your attention elsewhere.

With practice the anxiety should fade.

and yes. There's only so much I can do about it in groups or raids, but I am very particular about buff order when self buffing.

I like to put mine in alphabetical order. Nothing worse than someone coming and throwing me a casual Aegolism :mad:

What really triggers me is when zoning and buffs gets re-shuffled. I went through all that work for nothing! NOTHING!

With my chanter, yes. I have even cancelled rune V just to try to get them in the correct order with bedlam directly in front of it instead of like 3 or 4 in front of it.

I would only make sure to keep high mana buffs, and group buffs low on the list. Just in case the clickies get burnt through.

Nothing worse than not prioritizing Call of the Predator for example and having it stripped from a dispel midfight. No fuckin chance you're getting a ranger to group midfight.

dispel is so fucked now my buff order obsession isnt as empowering as it used to be :(

consistently get my PotG or Mask of Hunter dispelled in my 10th or 11th slot when hit with a random dispell from green mob ><
