Account 1 drops items and then /exit out
Log in with Account 2, then log on blue99, pick up items
Account 1 character still there, but obviously LD

Ground transfer like a boss. If you are on same IP addy, you shouldn’t be able to log in due to active character lockout.

Yes, you are exploiting your account IP exception.
If you want a faster switch stay at server select with second login and after a normal logout select the server, it's 30-40sec diff in speed.
You can be in server select with multiple accounts just need to be sure you log out of the server before joining it with another.

Loading up 2 clients on 1 PC is not why we grant IP exemptions. I would advise against it

The dangerous part is where you're still on but LD. In my opinion, you do not need to be so paranoid about ground drops, I have done it like 25-30 times between chars with no problems. You don't, and shouldn't, need to have both clients up at the same time on the same computer.

Find a secluded space, position both chars there. Put items in a bag, drop it. Sit and camp. Logoff, all the way off, and log back on with new character, pick up items. That's it. As long as you don't take like 5 minutes to log back in, you're fine. An extra 30 seconds or so from correctly switching chars does not matter. OR - ask someone for help, that works too. I've never had an exemption and so I don't know the in's and out's of how it works, but as far as the actual transfer goes you do not need to do everything possible to minimize time between drop and pickup. And anyway, since you have a legit exemption, just wait until your other person is available and use them to transfer.

Don't drop the shit until you have ~5 seconds left on the camp. If you do it that way, /exit saves less than 5 seconds over /camp desktop, and you wont have 2 toons online. I don't have an ip exemption so I just wait for the 5 seconds after typing /camp server, log in, pick shit up. Doesn't take very long.

You have plenty of time to ground transfer w/o an ip exemption. I do it all the time

DaP and Kittens are awesome people to ask for help with transfers.

You need to /sit and /camp to log out of account 1, and "quit" at the character select screen.

I got a warning for /q'ing to switch once.
