ALS - the elitist hobos of p99. These guys are the vegetarians of Norrath. Their goal is respectable but their execution of it is terrible.

Not sure if I agree with the rest of your post but this made me laugh pretty hard.

Why don't you think the "execution" is good? What could they improve? I have no dog in this fight but I'm genuinely curious and was considering alt-ing up in their guild a couple months ago.
