You cannot attach a debugger while playing Project 1999
 

Every time I launch P99, I get a window that says "You cannot attach a debugger while playing Project 1999" followed by "The application was unable to start correctly (oxc0000142)."

I keep getting this error code, and am unsure why. Ive closed practically everything minus Discord/Steam/Razer (even though i have tried all of those being closed.)

Ive tried almost everything. I've reinstalled the game, made sure i had the latest files, restarted pc several times, etc. If theres any help I can get I'd greatly appreciate it!

Let me know if i need to give more info, I'm at my pc 24/7 and should respond instantly.

This type of error is usually due to anti-virus software. Should be a way to setup an exception/exclusion for your Everquest folder

I've disabled AVG entirely and tried, same error. Turned firewall and UAC off as well, both to no avail.

if you have AVG you need to turn it then Windows Defender off (turn that shit off perminately) b/c it wil pick up and run in the background if you are using windows 7+
