1st post and I am trying to install this morning. Here is hoping there are no problems with the install. Ill be pally. woot woot!

There will probably be problems with the install tho ;) good luck don't give up!

Starting with a class that needs equipment to work well is a bit harder than just starting a caster. But go on, people are kind of generous nowadays and there are decent items for relatively cheap. Look up how to make money early on (literally hundreds of posts about it) and buy a nice weapon.

Pallies are awesome.

What race pally? I think I might be able to scrounge up some starter weapons for you, nothing fancy but it's something. Let me know your char name when you get on, we'll figure something out!

Paladins have been really nice in lower level groups. Flash of light has them hold great agro.

Paladins (and rangers) can ghetto heal a group at lower to mid levels, too.

A fine choice. I would highly recommend sticking with groups as your gear will make for a brutal solo grind.

I soloed quite well as a paladin. I got a baton of faith for 80 plat and went to town. I went to a two least level 35 alone with just that weapon; I’d prioritize getting it or someThing comparable. It’s a 30dmg/40 delay 2hb
