48 Rogue back after long AFK; seeks gear and leveling advice.
 

Howdy you got-damn fine Questers. Old player returning after longtime AFK. A little rusty and seeking some input.

1. Where should I group?
I want to get CoV faction but I am having trouble finding groups in Eastern Wastes. Where is there good giant killing to be had?

2. What weapons should I use?
I have about 1kpp to my name. I have a Blood Point in offhand and Trident of the Seven Seas in main hand.
If you had 1k to spend on a weapon, which would you replace, and with what?

Thank you for the excellent recommendations! Alas, I am a barbarian so the Dragonbone Shard isn’t for me. That Velium Spear looks dope, though, and if I can sell my Bloodpoint then I could probably afford it.

Any ideas as far as question #2?

XP wise you should be in CoM, if you really want to work on giant faction already maybe GD giant fort? not sure

Crystalline spear (13/30) relatively cheap at about 600-700p. Crystalline short sword is a cheap decent off hander that will give you some stats. Expect 500-650p.

If no haste, your weapons are decent enough to try and save for schw ~1.8kp

Velious factioning is still WL. You should be able to invis / sneak through Kael easily enough and pick up a WL portal tooth. Join the random groups of 55+ that slaughter giants for faction. With luck youll be in the melee xp group.

XP wise CoM or Sol B (if soloing / can create groups yourself). I am assuming you are not twinked and a group will help you, so CoM for pick up groups. There are still 40's groups that do KC wall out in DL too.

I would go to KC at 48, should find groups there as a rogue. Or SolB bnb.
As for weapons; go with frozen shard or trak tooth. Try and get ur epic!
