Windows 10 Graphics Error at Login

So just copied my directory over from another Windows 10 computer, and the game will run, however at accept/decline and then login it looks like I'm getting two versions of that screen superimposed over one another.

The word Login is over the word Connect
Exit is over Cancel
Options is over Help

When I try to login in let's me, however the character select screen is pure black.

Thanks in advance

Try changing the screen resolution?

Tried changing reso and fs/windowed via .ini--no dice.

Alt enteR ?

Try eq setup exe to lower reso

Does nada (other than fullscreen/windowed blackness). :(

You’re not gonna like my next suggestion, but try a full clean install would be my next step

Already did this-ish.

Been playing from a copied install directory for the past many years (Titanium discs long gone).

I've tried "re-installing" by re-copying previously installed and working versions (on different computers/windows versions) but no dice.

I seem to remember there being a patch for a more classic login screen. Is this still around? What it looks like is somehow my comp is trying to load two different login screens.

Then of course there's still the issue of the black selection screen but perhaps they are related?

Here's what the login looks like.

You can imagine what the black selection screen looks like. ;)

Mine kind of did this when I copied to one win10 box (but not the other). I deleted my .ini file and it launched fine afterwards. I never bothered to see which lines I could just modify as I haven't done any customization beyond windowed resolution size...
