Cannot create character
 

After logging into the server, I get the newbie [Level 1 warrior] character, no buttons at the bottom of the screen to select, delete or play. I've updated drivers, installed wineq2 and neither have worked. I have a 5700 series AMD video card, 2.6 6 core processor. I was looking through the multi-core thread but it seemed more like crashing issues than buttons.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try changing your resolution in the options.. if that doesn't work try changing your overall resolution... and any combination of the two.

Tried both just now. No luck :(

if you allready have a character you need to log onto him in boxed mode, like you would use on the EZserver, then log in expand screen using Alt + Enter buttons . Log out completely. Then log back in and screen should stay large and it should let you make a new character.

Is your screen full or half expanded?

I don't have a character yet, was looking to play with a couple of buddies. Alt enter works to get it full screen before logging in. After logging in however, I get a device error. I've updated/downgraded video drivers and still get this issue, and have also tried eqemu.

My screen was windowed, and I could see the entire screen. I can put a pic of it in here, or just a link if preferred.

Idea: Could my buddy create a character for me on his PC to see if that works? He already has an account so I'm not sure if it would be an IP issue.

What type of character are you trying to create?

At this point, any :D Human SK was going to be my first, but I can't see anything besides character. Screenshot link. I can't fullscreen because as stated before I get an error, which is why I tried eqemu and upgrading and rolling back video drivers.

Can you attatch your eqclient.ini files please.
