Better partner for 58 enc in hs- necro or shm?
 

My friend has a 58 enc and I want to duo with him in hs to get him closer to 60 and maybe get a bit of loot if we're lucky. I have a torp shaman and a 60 necro. Which is the better duo partner and why?

Shaman cuz torpor on pet means you can charm a named and just keep him healed for non stop ownage.

Necro seems appealing in part due to FD and rez... I envisage charm issues but maybe I should just live a little? ;)

North or west, they are the same. South has a level 50 named as well, for what it's worth.

You can also charm the east door roamer if not a caster and hope it's level 50 and not higher. If it's higher, you might as well just gamble with a higher pet but personally, I think it isn't worth the potential added downtime as far as exp is concerned, especially if you're doing West.

If charming a named, watch out for the golem. If it has Scorpikis Impaler equipped, it will DoT everything you fight and it will suck. Usually best to just kill him and hope for another named to pop.

I actually think a necro would be a better partner. 2 charmed pets means twice the killing rate. If your pets get low on hp, just kill them and get new ones.

Necro partner will be faster xp. Shaman partner will be safer xp. Both work rather well in HS.

Necro. Charm pet and shadowbond heal is enough to keep you up. They also get screaming terror to help on charm breaks.

Make it a trio and dominate literally the entire zone.
