I wouldn't do it because I think it is against the naming policy but has anyone named their character after something in the media and acted like that character in speech? Like if I were to create an Ogre warrior named Hodor and only say hodor in groups or make a druid named Groot and use tree form to say I am groot in EC tunnels?

I roleplayed Robin Williams by dying in the EC tunnel one time, apparently a RL friend of Robin Williams plays P99 (people who lie on a petition should be banned) and petitioned the corpse. Derubael suspended the account.

I did the same for Whitney Houston but didn't get a suspension for that.

People name their characters what ever they want. Staff only care about vulgar names. The naming policy is being trampled.

If only someone cared enough to make a list of the violators in their spare time.
But where would we find someone with that much autism, even here?

Robin Williams played EQ on live (wood elf ranger I believe), so it's not entirely inconceivable that he'd have a friend who plays here.
