Getting Error message at initial startup.

When Using Launch Titainum per instructions I get than error, "Windows cannot find 'eqgame'. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again.

When I attempt to launch eqgame.exe I get an error, "The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click Ok to close the application.

Both were run as Admin and compatibility of XP server pack 2. On a Win10 machine.

I replaced spelllaw 45 files and deleted eqg files.

After turning off anti-virus, I now get an error stating that I can not attach a debugger to project 1999.

I was having a different problem so I tried launching the game as administrator and I got your issue of EQgame cannot be found. Maybe try launching the game not as an administrator and see if it works. It opens for me fine but if I right click the icon and choose run as administrator I get the eqgame cannot be found error.

what happens if you create a shortcut to launch P99 from instead of using the .bat file? here is what the properties of my shortcut look like:

After turning off Antivirus and doing everything explained in this thread. I get an error message : 'You can not attach a Debugger while playing project 1999." And then the error message that follows reads "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) click ok to close the application."

I had to completely uninstall all Virus Protection to be able to access the server. This is the only way I can play, due to the .dll issue. Reinstalling virus software causes error messages to reappear. I was using AVG, and even whitelisting the .dll file, it still caused it to be blocked. So, there's still issues, but I can play.

Did you try to whitelist the whole EQ folder? I've seen people have good luck w/ that and AVG.
