Initiate Symbol of Bertoxxulous Quest

For the life of me I can not get a diseased bone marrow to drop from a brittle skeleton in Steamfont, and I need two. Is there a way to see if item is in game? I have killed 17 with no drop.

Diseased bone marrow drops. You just have to keep at it.
