Velium swiftblade

My warrior is 18 now and using velium swiftblade (5/24 36% haste).

For now with relatively low dual wield I know it works out for the best - am just curious at what point dual wield and double attack will hit the point that it would be preferable to downgrade haste to 24% and swing two higher caliber weapons. For now offhand just doesn't seem relevant enough to bail on 36% haste.

Ratios I will likely have available will include:
14/28
25/40 (wurmslayer)
11/23
9/18

Wurmy plus that Haste after damage cap would be sick.

Yep it'll be really really nice damage until damage bonus starts to take off more significantly in the 40s and 50s. The ratio is amazing enough that it'll take a significant speed reduction to offset the standard warrior weapon ratios that hover around 0.5 +/-

Any ideas? I figure once DA and DW climb to around 150s that downgrading from 36 to 24% haste will be worth it not having a 5/24 offhand. For now I'm 22 and destroying with a 36% hasted wurmslayer.

Going to real tough holding aggro with a WS. stick with something fast it's your only option for holding aggro at low lvls. Or if you can afford it a staff of battle will help hold down that aggro.

look to me liek you gonna see a little bump if you swap now. my spreadsheet all boogered up, but looking liek wurmy+vs=24.67 vs wurmy+14/28+24%h=24.94. and yeah that figure 36%h from vs.

Melee threat is all about damage potential and at low levels before damage bonus kicks in ratio is king. Regardless, I have a WESS in my bags for aggro so it's a moot point.

I just went through the math exhaustively using the skill/420 method and determined that at 150 skill dual wield and double attack wurmslayer + jade mace and 24% beats wurmslayer + 5/24 and 36% haste by about 2%. Looks like it's finally time to make the switch.

where you come up with the 420 skill cap? i been using 405. either way, you right, it time to switch :3
