1 character crashing at start of combat
 

I was playing just fine, hit lvl 9 on a Halfling druid. logged for a bit and came back and now as I enter combat the screen locks up. the combat music still plays but I have to open task manager and close out the program. can someone point me in the direction of a solution? I logged into another character and entered combat just fine, so I believe it is specific to the 1 character

Did you recently resize one of that characters chat windows very small? If so you may have made it too small, that would cause issues you are describing.

also try deleting (or renaming) the log file for that character in your everquest directory.
