Is brewing broken?
Just finished 160 combines without a point. 119 int isn't the best, but it's all that bad. A point every 2 stacks was bad enough, but don't even know whether to continue now.
|
Raise your INT above 200 and retry. If the results are the same, then it might be bugged. But at that skill-level, with INT that low, then you should expect large gaps between skill-ups.

I already have all my tradeable wizard gear on my monk to get it to the 119. There is no way to add another 80+.
I thought I was being reasonably patient by continuing while getting a point every 40-50 combines. Shrug. Give up I guess. |
What is your level?

Get enchanter buffs to boost it furhther
And yes, brewing is broken Overpowered |

I'm not sure I would encourage you give up though ... maybe just wait until you're 60 and have extra time/money to burn. Tradeskills are fun, in their own weird and somewhat-masochistic way. If you do keep going though I strongly recommend asking an Enchanter for a buff to get your Int up. |
54 Branamil. or 175 at brewing. Not sure which you meant :)
Was just reading another post on here and evidently no one has a shot at one of the earlier coldain rings anyway. So the hours I've put in already are pointless. |
I had placed this note in the wiki around Halloween time last year when I started doing Minotaur Hero's Brew:

But I have a heavy +WIS set on my monk for tradeskills (even got him a Testament of Vaneer and Coldain Skin Boots!) |
I have a gear set for my melee characters that gives more than 100+ WIS. It only cost a few thousand plat, Othmir Fur Cap has an insane amount of WIS for less than 100p. GEB was my most expensive purchase.
Doing tradeskills with 200 WIS is so much better. Your 119 INT is just not going to cut it for skilling so close to 200 and above. |
