All of My Characters Are Gone
 

I was playing tonight, just got invited to a guild and logged off. Instead of going back to the character select screen, I got dumped on the login screen. When I logged back in, all of my characters were gone and were replaced with the default human named newbie." WTF? Can someone help me with this? Are my chars truly gone?

Restart and load up again, making sure it is the correct server.. Eventually your characters will display properly.

I've tried three times now and every time they are shown as gone. I'll keep trying but you're saying they are still there at least?

Yeah, they are still there. If restarting your computer doesn't work try shut down and turn on again. or vice versa.

I had this happen to me recently. Again, make sure you are also logging into the right server. Sometimes it will switch by itself. Once I found myself accidently logged into the Aftermath test server :S.
