Error Code SP-1 Hraaaaalp!
 

I couldn't wait for Titanium disks that I over paid for to arrive so I tried another way. Very frustrating. But when I heard the EQ music playing I knew I was seconds away from creating my character and entering world again after all these years. But it said something about missing spell files and error code sp-1. Broke my heart. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Please be specific because I am not good at computers. Thank you!

Thank you. I used that when I was going through my initial attempt and have just reread it as you suggested. But I gotta be honest with you I am an older gentleman and when I went to school all we had were Big Chief paper tablets and pencils and I cannot tell from that page what I did wrong. Is there another way you know of to fix the SP-1 error so I can play too? Thanks again.

You have to drag the contents of the folders that you find in the downloaded zip file into the folders with the same names in your eq folder.


You NEED these files to play, it's the only thing you have to do.

Unzip it, you can download 7zip for free if you don't have a program to do it already, but you should be able to just double click the zipped file (its compressed to be a faster download) to unzip it. http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

The root level (files that are not in a folder) go directly into your eq folder and the others (ui, resources, spellfiles) go in their respective folders found inside the eq folder.

To play the game you need to make a shortcut to the "launch titanium.bat" and put it wherever you want (right click the "launch titanium.bat" and click create shortcut)
You'll start the game by double clicking that.

^This, make sure you -replace- when prompted, and merge the folders.

arena.eqg
arena_EnvironmentEmitters.txt
lavastorm.eqg
nektulos.eqg
Nektulos_EnvironmentEmitters.txt

Yes, this needs to be done as well, this shouldn't give you an error code though, you'd just be stuck after zoning into those areas because you'd have mismatched maps.
