/stand is non classic. /sit on /sit off are broken.

December 4, 2001 6:00 am - /stand now implemented. We've added this command because not everyone speaks programmer and would think that the logical reverse of /sit would be /sit off. :) /stand was not implemented until luclin release. The correct command at this point should be /sit off to force standing. Like wise /sit on should force sitting. At the moment /sit only works as a toggle, which is not classic. |
Devs don't deal with client stuff I think? Would have to change a few things on it's end to implement that seems like.

/sit off works btw :P

oh is it /sit on that is broken? let me go check!
Edit: yes, shame on me for relying on my memory, it is /sit on that is broken. It just toggles whether you are sitting, it should force you to sit (and not make you stand if already siting). |

I believe Caiu is correct in that this would require a client-side modification - wouldn't be a simple change in how the server receives that command, for example. That's also why most of the non-classic /help commands still "function" insofar as they elicit a response from the client even if the server doesn't respond to them.

In other words, nilbog needs to blackmail TAKP developers for their Trilogy-era client.
