Horizontal Hotbar
 

I haven't played EQ in a while, so I apologize if this issue has already been addressed. My hotbar was always horizontal so it fit nicely at the bottom of my screen as a toolbar, but now that I've updated my game my hotbar is vertical instead of horizontal. Is there a way for me to make the hotbar horizontal again?

You can have up to 4 hotbars (possibly more). I think the first 2 are horizontal by default and the second 2 come out vertical. Try just opening up all 4 to see what happens. Then you can get ris of which ever ones you want.

Personally I tend to use 2 on the bottom and one on the side at all times, I use a 4th one for my healer characters so I have all my typical targets already hotkeyed.

I can only open hotbar 1, if I try enabling the other ones nothing happens. I've looked at the commands to open the other hotbars, and no matter what I set them to I can't get them open.

I still can't activate hotbars 2-4. :(

you must have a dif UI. /loadskin default_old

I have the same issue. The first computer I loaded P99 on has the vertical hotbars while the other two have horizontal. They all have the same updates and none of them have a different UI. One thing to note is that they have different spell icons as well.

After doing that the skin of my UI looks like stone and all four hotbars are vertical. Is there a way to make any of them horizontal?

This is probably a stupid question that has either been answered and I'm just not getting it, or is not possible, but how would one wanting to use the Velious UI but with 2 horizontal hotbars instead of 1 vertical one go about setting this up? Paying Savok a healthy living wage by chance? Let me know what's up with this pls! :)

If you have downloaded the UI updates listed in my sig then default and default_old will both have 2 horizontal and 2 vertical hotbars. These can be opened by setting UI macro keys from the Options>Keys panel.

If you have the Velious UI without the optional extras you will only have 1 hotbar. Download the extras zip file and copy the EQUI_HotButtons.xml file to your Velious folder and reload with /loadskin.

If you have my Vert UI then you will have 3 2x5 and 1 horizontal hotbar as standard, with the option of downloading different variations.

If you use a different UI from above then your on your own!
